Nathan Ellis, Writer and Director

Ellis is a British writer. In 2020 his play Super High Resolution was shortlisted for the Verity Bargate Award. His play work.txt (a play without actors) opened at the Soho Theatre in 2022 and won the Best Interactive Theatre Award at the Adelaide Fringe and Technical Innovation Award at the Dublin Fringe Festival and was invited to the caravan assembly 2022. The show is currently on an international tour (Australia, Germany, Brazil, Italy, the Netherlands, Canada, Egypt) and has so far been translated into seven languages and performed on six continents. Ellis is an Amplify Associate of the Nottingham Playhouse and Artistic Director of SUBJECT OBJECT, an award-winning theatre company based in the UK and Germany. Its work explores new ways of using technology and interactivity in theatre. It comprises makers across various disciplines, and is rooted in cross-disciplinary ways of working.

More Production

More Production was founded in 2021 by Lucas Wang, who has worked in the theatre industry for over 10 years. The company is committed to original theatre productions as well as diverse categories of stage arts, capturing contemporary topics and urban culture. Its self-owned 2332 Studio focuses on original content production through real story-telling in the form of theatre, invoking reflection and resonance of our time.
